As I said in the last newsletter that I was holding a Dry-Point workshop this past weekend at the Pontiac School of the Arts (PSOTA).
We ended up with eight students for the workshop. This made for tight working conditions, but once we were able to work around that, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, and everyone was able to pull prints from at least a couple of plates. Even though we were concentrating on single colour images, we even tried a rainbow roll for the last pull.
I would like to thank everyone who participated in the course. You were a good bunch to work with and I enjoyed the discussions around the work tables, and the images that came out of the workshop are really great.
I would also like to thank the PSOTA organizing committee for all the work they put into putting together this summer’s PSOTA sessions. It is a lot of work and takes many volunteer hours to put together something like this. Thank you very much folks.
I have included some images from the weekend. My apologies for not getting pictures of everyone. (Click to enlarge)
