Opening: Friday, April 3, 2009, 7- 9 pm

L’exposition aura lieu du 3 Avril - 1 Mai, 2009
The exhibition will run April 3 - May 1, 2009

This exhibition, as indicated from the invitation image will be a collection of older and newer work, in varied media, covering influences from Africa to the Pontiac. I am looking forward to seeing these pieces all in on place.

Some of this work has never been hung in the Pontiac.

“Rural Address” the exhibition

Peter Wood’s exhibition Rural Address has had a good number of visitors who have appreciated Peter’s way of capturing a part of our local culture.

For those of you who have not seen Peter’s paintings you have another week.

Thanks to those who have come so far.

Recent Additions to the Supplies Corner

One of my suppliers has a small selection of quality, archival mat board at a reasonable price. I have samples available to look at.

I was also able to get in some nice acid-free paper for drawing and printmaking. I have it in four colours and the price is good.

Other new items include solid painting panels, inexpensive water colour paper, acid free glue, display portfolios, etc.

Rural Address: Vernissage

The vernissage for Peter Woods’ exhibition Rural Address went well with a good turn out.

Thanks to all who were able to make it. If you couldn’t, it would be well worth your while. The show will be up until the end of March, so you still have some time.

Thanks also goes to Cafe 349 for the wonderful nibblies supplied for the evening of the vernissage, and  The Equity did a nice write-up on the exhibition.

Newsletter: March 2009

Hello there,

As you can see this newsletter marks a minor departure from my previous ‘Newsletter Format’. I still want to include information of the goings-on here to help keep you up to date, but I also thought I would add little section (like this) that could be a little more personable.
