Well I had been on a roll with the the website work. The galleries are basically where I wanted them. Now I need to work on the main information section of the site, but as always it seems that something else comes up!
I had wanted to be further ahead on the website so that I could move on. The moving on is the 50th wedding anniversary for my folks. I am doing the invitations.
So for the time being the website work is taking a little hiatus while I work on those invites. First is the design for the email version then a small edition of hand-pulled dry-points for the real thing.

Well this may not be the way things are done, but the website is slowly taking shape. The full Gallery Archive is now up and running.

Well I have a portion of the site up. The portion that deals with the current exhibitions of my work is up. There are a couple of blind links yet. I’m working on that.

Well, Tuesday Renate sat in for me here at the studio. Today I am back.
This allows me to have two days off. Mind you only one of those I get to spend with Renate….sort of! This Monday I was up fishing with a friend on a lake on a property of his. In fact it was the piece of property that appears in a couple of pieces that I did for the last exhibition “For the Taking”.

This exhibition came in response, at least in part, to the Uranium exploration in our region.

“For the Taking X”
Tuesday was another day out of the studio for me. Last night after the rain had stopped and as the last light faded in the sky, the mist began to rise and the fireflies came out. That was quite the scene.
I find that night time ramblings like that also provide for ideas for pieces. This piece is showing at Gigi’s Cafe in Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.

This website work seems to be taking forever. Hopefully once I have it set up the updating later won’t take too much time.
One can always hope……..maybe

I can’t seem to make up my mind on how I want this to look. As a result I have changed the presentation (which is a little limiting!) and titles a number of times.
That is not to mention trying to make up my mind how to go about the website updates.
I did manage to get some fishing in tho, for about an hour at 5:00 this morning

Well I added some more to this. I added a couple sub-pages to the Exhibitions Page. .
I also spent some time trying to figure out how to get the images to display the way I want. As it turns out I will have to do something else with the actual display of images of my work. I was looking for something simpler than what I have presently on my website. So it is back to the drawing board…….sort of.

Welcome
Well, I have decided to try this blog idea as a way to keep up to date on what’s happening here with at Underground Impressions Souterraines (UIS). My website raymond.sanderregier.com will still be operational, but this blog will allow for timely (I hope) updates as well as possible comments from visitors.
So I have the basic set-up where I want it (I think). Once I have this where I want it I will continue working on the actual website.
Thanks,
Raymond
